FOX 5 DC - Digital Content Manager

  • Managed the team in digital, news app and social media strategies to meet corporate and fiscal goals for each quarter, covering major breaking news including the COVID-19 pandemic, Election Day, the Capitol Riot and Inauguration Day
  • Increased the digital footprint to bring in 8.1M users in three months – a 30% increase from the same period the previous year by implementing new SEO strategies
  • Promoted FOX 5 DC’s live player (the embed in all of our stories that were shared across the group) had 2.4M starts (Up 340% from the previous Wednesday: 548K) on Inauguration Day. This means that our live broadcast was being watched around the country
  • Managed a portfolio of eight podcasts, including editing, uploading to hosting platforms, and promoting on social media to bring in a combined 37M views
  • Revamped FOX 5 DC’s YouTube channel, bringing in 88K new subscribers in one year with 51.3M views and an estimated revenue of $158K
  • Grew FOX 5 DC’s daily brief and breaking newsletter from the ground up with 8,000 subscribers in its first 30 days

The Broad Museum - Social Media and Marketing Manager

  • Launched and grew the verified GIPHY brand channel with nearly 1M GIF views in less than three months
  • Redesigned the marketing emails that are sent to 500K people monthly
  • Developed marketing materials for the opening of the landmark exhibition, Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power 1963-1983

ABC7 Eyewitness News - Senior Social Media Producer

  • Established ABC7 Eyewitness News as the most followed local news station in the country by increasing engagement across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram by 75% in 6 months
  • Conceptualized, pitched and produced ABC7’s IGTV show, Eyewitness This, which reached 75K people daily
  • Increased referral traffic from ABC7’s Instagram account from 15 visitors a week to 1,500 visitors a day
  • Launched the All Good News Facebook group to highlight heartwarming stories, which gained 7K new members in one month
